i think that the haka give a psychological edge to both teams, the AB's obviously, but also the opposing team. they are pretty much standing there with their teammates, backs against the wall and being presented a challenge. i know that personally, a team that i have played performed a haka-ish...
pretty sure this little scuffle has got more media attention than the famine in africa. anyone else think thats slightly messed up? they threw a few punches last year, didnt affect the team then, doesnt affect it now. irrelevant.
its a shame that the free to air coverage is so bad, only the dedicated suffer through the horrible telecasts... accessibility - or lack thereof - to the game is killing its growth.

at the end of the day refs decisions are a uncontrollable element of the game really, as it stands at least. playing the whistle after a dubious forward pass definitely does matter, as it should be up to the players to...
shame to see JOC (James O'Connor) suspended for this weekends game, shame for the wallaby unit. that said if this doesnt get through to him that he needs to pull his head in his position as a wallaby needs to be reevaluated. can only hope this doesnt affect the result...
berate him, smack him into line (hell make him do a training session with the piggies, put him in the front row against benn TPN and kepu...haha) and make him earn his dues back. weakening the team isnt the way to go
