My issue is not so much how much we lose by, but how we lost the game.
If we lost by 60 but had been showing signs of improvement over recent performances, I could handle that.
If we keep losing by 7 or less and show the same lack of imagination in our game plan, no improvement in our skills...
My rational side agrees that the game needs to be attractive to a wider audience for the sake of investment in the game and its future.
My purist rugby side says ... stop messing around with the f'ing rules!!
I just hope that Robbie has more than a plan A for this game, or that Horwill is capable of changing it up himself if things are not going the Wallabies way.

Unfortunately I think the potential for growth is limited. Although most Americans I have met love the spectacle of rugby with the collisions without pads, it is just a novel curiosity to them. They only have eyes for their world dominated sports. You know? World series baseball, NFL and stuff...
I'm not too concerned about Pocock, as I think he will play. A sore back? Rub a little deep heat on and voila, ready to rumble. Everyone knows its magical properties.
Don't forget that he will then have 2 weeks off to recuperate for the finals.
Since when does someone need to earn the right to niggle, WTF? To me that is like the coach telling a newbie halfback that he can't dummie and go if he sees a gap, as he has to earn the right to make the opposition look stupid. If it works, use it!
I quite like the idea of that.
We will still struggle with a ball player at 1st receiver after quick turnover though. Man I wish Quade could become a noted defender. How many years can we keep going this way?
