TRC 2022: All Blacks v Argentina

The ABs really should have won that. Australia have traditionally had a mortgage on creating more opportunity, scoring more tries but losing on the scoreboard. I’ve not seen that from the darkness before. Doubt it will happen again next week.

Wallabies v Springboks - Adelaide Oval, Sat 27th August, 2022

I guess the problem when you have a blanket rule that any contact with the head is a yellow you create this issue. A player feels any light contact and they go down to force a TMO frame by frame review. There needs to be a degree of common sense. There’s no way that was dangerous with any...

TRC 2022: All Blacks v Argentina

Happy for cheika. He had a rough time in his tenure with the wallabies.

Wallabies v Springboks - Adelaide Oval, Sat 27th August, 2022

Nope. Leota was penalised for holding on. Went straight to ground and SAF latched on. Tupou didn’t shift him in the cleanout. Pretty poor from both of them tbh.

Interesting the scrum is rock solid on our feed. Suggests some skullduggery on theirs….

Penalty yes. Card - bullshit. Shame. I’d love to see someone give white a crack across the chops.

Wallabies v Springboks - Adelaide Oval, Sat 27th August, 2022

I think hodge has been average at 15 and not a standout under the high ball. He’s played better at 10. His boot is his main asset and was a standout for Australia A so his inclusion will help a territory game if we play that way. Hope I’m wrong but I reckon by game 2 he will return to the bench...

Right - must be fact if the commentators said so

    Argentina v Australia Sun, 7/8/2022, 5:10 am

I don’t think the Argies looked that threatening - they were ahead due to the constant flow of penalties in the first half . I’d work on the discipline, leave hodge at 10, put O’Connor on a 6-2 bench and see what he has to offer at the end of the game. If he has another shocker and hodge...

    Wallabies 2023

Give Hodge a crack starting at 10 against the Argies. We know what lolesio brings and if Hodge is our backup he’ll benefit from some game time there. If he doesn’t grab the opportunity bring lolesio beck for the rest of TRC.

    Argentina v Australia Sun, 7/8/2022, 5:10 am

I watched the Oz game live but didn’t come here in case some plonker revealed the results of the NZ v SAF game. Skipped the half time commentary for the same reason and got away with it - great morning of rugby . That first half was textbook wallabies - so often we end up well behind despite...

Sevens 2021/22 (World Series, Oceania, Comm Games & R7WC)

That was hardly a tackle in the air. Basically just assisted him to the ground on his feet. Is the rule different in 7s?

    Wallabies 2023

I’m no longer convinced an open slather approach to overseas selections would be a bad thing. The wallabies need some results to encourage more supporters and that requires our best team on the park. It would also free up space for more local players to get a salaried contract instead of looking...

Australia v England: Match III, SCG, Sat 16th July 7.55pm AEST

Doesn’t matter. Under the clusterfuck that is the current tackle framework all responsibility lies with the tackler in a head clash. We saw that with the yellow and red in the Ireland v ABs games. Both very similar passive tackles.
