A big Saturday at Hunters Hill with Marist College Canberra heading up the Hume to play Joeys.

A big year for MCC celebrating their 50th anniversary.

In the Marist tradition, Joeys and MCC have an annual trial hosted by Joeys. MCC took the honours last year. MCC will be keen to make ammends for their Easter Saturday loss to Riverview 29-26 as the curtain raiser to the Brumbies V Tahs game.

Joeys will be very keen to start their external trial programme on the right note.

Plenty of interest for other GPS Schools on Joeys #1 as well:

Joeys 4ths V Sydney Boys High at 10 am
Joeys 3rds V Riverview 3rds at 1 pm
Joeys 2nds V Riverview 2nds at 2 pm

then the big one Joeys 1sts V MCC 1sts at 3.15 pm

Should be a great afternoon in the sun.

Who is the favourite this year? Scots to win again or could it be the year of the King??

Kings and Scots are clear favourites, but View, New and Joeys can be expected to field quality sides as well. With only 5 matches, it might come down the bounce of the ball on the day, depth in the open division and even a Referee's decision. What are the chances of a shared premiership.

Interestingly, according to the poll at the top of the page, Shore are second favourites behind Joeys who are clear favourites.

I tipped Kings last year, but they found a way to lose it.
