Tala Grey has been doing some good things for Easts; he has a good combination of a strong tight game and a physical yet dynamic loose game. Could be a good option for the Tahs squad?

He used to be with the Brumbies but they let him go due to injuries. A good young backrower

In the same vein as Tala, you'd hope Ed Gower would pick up a contract somewhere. Was with the Brumbies but got injured, think he played some Tahs junior game this year.

Good call on Gower, a hard head backup. Yep he played for the Juniors about 3 times.

As for Tala: he's only 21 but has had major injuries, and needed shoulder and knee reconstructions. I doubt if an Oz Super team would touch him.

Lee, Tala has been going great guns this year. He is deceptively strong and does quite a fair bit of work around the field. He reminds me of Seilala Lam from Randwick. They both wouldn't look out of place at a franchise.

I've read a rumour about a fidjian guy called Alex Rokobaro that has been approched by the Stade Francais. Any comments on that player?

Good player. About 21yo, plays wing, fb and sometimes centre or even 5/8. Wing probably his best position. Was in waratahs academy last year and rebels academy this year. Very fast. I think he would have played super rugby here in the next couple of years if he'd stayed around.

In fact it is official, he will play for Paris next year

The flyhalf for West Harbour in yesterday's TV game had some very nice touches. A neat long pass and an unorthodox step that kept him out of heavy contact a few times yesterday. Bolter for the Tahs squad?

Kicked well when he got a good strike on the ball.

Haven't seen that much of him this year but by all accounts he seems to be playing pretty well. I played in the age group above him at Wests all through juniors and I can say he's a good bloke and a good West Harbour clubman.

I think there is a lack of redheads in Australian rugby. They need a good Wallabies representative; the last one was Richard Brown, wasn't it?
