Scott Allen has offered to back up with another Q&A session - now that the Kiwi tour is done and we look forward to the RWC.

Let us know if you have any particular questions you might want to put to them.
Just been catching up on second test result - good improvement showed by wallaroos with 29-3 result.

Dru couple of suggested questions to consider -

How can the 15's leverage of the women's 7's success and profile?

What needs to happen to close the gap between nz and oz woman's 15?

what can be done to support the growth and success of women's 15's rugby in oz?

How do you see the co location of Australian rugby teams at new aru facilities at Moore park helping you?

Womans football is recently growing quite strongly and getting increased profile amongst the different football codes? How much are you seeing this in the woman's 15 sphere? For example player registrations, sponsor enquiries?

Holy shit. How did that not get penalised?

It doesn't matter that there wasn't a ruck formed. Goss could have hung out in the Aussie backline due to that but wasn't allowed to approach the tackle and play the ball.

Sorry if this was already posted somewhere....

But.... what.... the.... fuck.....

Glad I'm not the only one. Thought there had to be some obscure off side rule that I didnt know. They mentioned something in Sevens?

It's not really an obscure law at all.

Offside doesn't apply if you're playing for New Zealand.
Apparently they were trialling the new law changes proposed by nzru that includes a New Zealand player can not be called off side. It is apparently part of the new 100 year nz rugby strategic plan to be number 1 in rugby for the next 100 years.

Reckon they were trying that Chiefs tactic off kickoffs of not engaging so as to not form the ruck and leaving a player in the backline to disrupt things.

They probably even cleared it with the ref before the game too - she seemed to be expecting it.

Then both ref and player forgot the crucial bit of the tackle law!

Women’s Rugby World Cup draw

Pool A: Canada, New Zealand, Wales, Asia/Oceania 2
Pool B: England, USA, Italy, Europe 3
Pool C: France, Ireland, Australia, Asia/Oceania 1

Europe 3 will be Scotland or Spain, they're playing home & away this month.

Two of Fiji, Hong Kong & Japan will take the Asia/ Oceania spots, qualifying tournament in HK 9-17 December.

Dates: 9-26 August 2017

Venues:
Pool matches University College, Dublin
Semis & Finals Queens University, Belfast & Kingspan Stadium (formerly Ravenhill), Belfast

RANT: how come they can do the draw just nine months almost to the day before it starts when for the men's it's two years (an improvement on the previous three years but still waaaaaaay too early IMO)? W.T.F!
