Yeah - that’s what the dead people from vaccinations have. Hurt feelings. One group distributes misinformation that materially affects individual and population health, the other hurts their feelings.

Look, for people unsure and in need of comfort and reassurance I have all the time and empathy in the world. I want them to join the team and experience the relief at having their chances of death or serious illness drastically reduced by vaccine brings. I want their friends and family members to feel the relief that a loved one is both safer and less of a risk to their own health. It's a good feeling.Yeah - that’s what the dead people from vaccinations have. Hurt feelings.
People die not too irregularly from taking all sorts of prescription and over the counter medication. There have been people who have died from taking the vaccine. Not a huge number but it seems if you die from taking the vaccine, that is just a casualty we have to accept.
The disregard and the contempt shown for those people by stupid mocking like this is as bad as a lot of the anti-vaxxer shit you see online.
How on earth does mocking anti-vaxxers show disregard or contempt for those that are unfortunate casualties of a shit situation? There have been people who have died from taking the vaccine. Not a huge number but it seems if you die from taking the vaccine, that is just a casualty we have to accept.

Yeah - no one seems to have an issue with the expectation we put on women to take the pill for contraceptive purposes, which carries a higher risk than the vaccine.People die not too irregularly from taking all sorts of prescription and over the counter medication.
Almost always, not taking the medication is far more likely to lead to poorer health or death than taking it.
Why?I'm sure there are plenty of people who would prefer to take their chances with Covid rather than get a vaccination on a 6monthly or yearly basis
The FDA doesn't even think they are of value except for the older, at-risk onlyWhy?
The booster is identical to the first shots atm. (Might change to cover variants but not currently)
So if you got the first why not stick with it?
Otherwise why bother in the first place?
Don’t understand the logic there.

FDA advisers reject Biden’s plan to offer Pfizer boosters for all, embraces 3rd shots for older, at-risk Americans only

No one said that when we got the first 2 shots that we would have to get it repeatedly. Why?

Over a vaccine that has a 0.0001% chance of killing them? And put their grandparents, work colleagues with medical conditions, hospital staff, the immunocomprimised, the allergic unvaccinated all at increased risk who collectively have a much greater chance of dying that 2%.No one said that when we got the first 2 shots that we would have to get it repeatedly.
Many would prefer to take their chances with a virus that has a less than a 2% chance of killing them.
Apart from the allergic unvaccinated, how are any of those people at risk if they are vaccinated?Over a vaccine that has a 0.0001% chance of killing them? And put their grandparents, work colleagues with medical conditions, hospital staff, the immunocomprimised, the allergic unvaccinated all at increased risk who collectively have a much greater chance of dying that 2%.
Selfish,self centred, and self important.
But the risk of dying from the vaccine is just so much lower and that's a consideration of death, only. The potential side effects from the vaccine are transitory where as the virus can cause all sorts of short and long term damage. It makes literally no sense - not to mention it undermines the collective effort required to combat the virus. No one said that when we got the first 2 shots that we would have to get it repeatedly.
Many would prefer to take their chances with a virus that has a less than a 2% chance of killing them.
This has already been explained in this thread. Either you are willfully ignoring the perfectly rational explanations provided or you are just too dumb to understand.Apart from the allergic unvaccinated, how are any of those people at risk if they are vaccinated?
Because the vaccine is not 100% effective and the elderly/immunocompromised/ those with multiple medical issues still die at higher rates. And unless enough people are fully vaccinated there is a big enough reservoir for the virus to continue to circulate and infect people in those categories.Apart from the allergic unvaccinated, how are any of those people at risk if they are vaccinated?
Did - like 5 hours agoOkay, time to move on.
Do the pharmaceutical companies get paid for the vaccines being produced and used?
