    Brumbies 2022

Banks was the Brumbies top try scorer in Super Rugby AU this year (according to this site anyway - https://rugby.statbunker.com/competitions/LeadingTryScorers?comp_id=655 )

    Brumbies 2022

To my eyes the Brumbies have played a more balanced game under McKellar than they did under the Larkham. Still strong in the forwards but much more willing to give the backs a go.

    Super Rugby 2022

Round 6 won't be Brumbies v Chiefs, as the Raiders are playing at Bruce that evening.

And a Saturday arvo game against the Canes (Rd 5, 19 March)

    Brumbies 2022

Any Canberra Times subscribers out there that are able to provide the gist of an article on the Times website today? Headline talks about Saturday arvo games next season and possibly having to move a game to Manuka due to a scheduling clash

    Brumbies 2022

I assume the guys that left probably saw themselves as first XV players (and worth first XV money) which wasn’t going to happen at the Brumbies

RC - Wallabies vs Springboks, Gold Coast Sunday 12 September 8:05 PM

If that's the case, should we be getting him signed up to an Oz Super Rugby side, rather than playing Div 2 in Japan? And if so, where would he go? Reds already have JOC (James O'Connor) plus there's the history with Thorn. Brums have Lolesio. Maybe back to the Rebels, would probably be a good mentor for Gordon...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

All Brumbies players are still attached to a local club (club allocations listed against the players here - https://brumbies.rugby/news/2021/01/05/brumbies-super-rugby-squad-2021 )

Bledisloe III at Perth, 5/09/21 - 4pm AEST

Maybe my memory is faulty, but the last time Quade played regularly for the Wallabies he got sin-binned on more than one occasion for high tackles. Hopefully he's fixed his technique over the years, but perhaps a bit of a worry, what with how refs treat high tackles these days?

Bledisloe #1 New Zealand vs Australia, August 7 2021

Bookies have Australia at $9.50. Hopefully some of the ABs will decide they’d like a piece of that

    Brumbies 2022

No thanks. About the only attacking threat we had while he was coach was the rolling maul.

    Brumbies 2022

Maybe Wright to spend some time in the midfield? With Kuenzle and Pasitoa leaving we're a bit light on there.

    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

Thought Wright looked the goods in his games last year, it's just this year that he's stunk up the joint. And Daugunu's had shockers in gold too, though I'd be starting him instead Wright now (if he's fit)

TT Rd 2 - Chiefs v Brumbies, Sat 22nd May, 5.05pm AEST, FMG Waikato

Lonergan starts at hooker and McInerney returns from injury, so no room for Fainga'a. Cusack also returns from injury via the bench.

    Reds 2021

From my memory, Hynes was fast but there wasn't much deception

    Reds 2021

I'm assuming the points conceded number is pretty heavily skewed by the fact that Paisami/Petaia were the centres for the game against the Brumbies - but was that due to them being poorer defenders, or because the Brumbies are a bigger attacking threat than the teams Stewart was playing against?

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

I’m guessing the hacking problem Nine have had might be affecting the production of some shows?
