I note Norths have got some Academy up and running and Andrew Clyne from Eastwood is the Head Coach. They've just announced this morning that David Campese is on the Coaching staff. Could it be Norths are finally getting their act together?
Trip is a bit harsh isn't it. But perhaps your next point is half the problem.....every other club just raids them every year of their best players. Perhaps there should be a " hands off rule" for 5 years........
From the moment Pup returned to Brisbane Gabbett's days were numbered. Was telling how subdued Gabbett's celebrations were on Grand Final day. I watched him closely. Quite subdued all things considered. Perhaps it was still sinking in.
The Filth are specials this Sunday I reckon......sadly. But be nice for Gabbett to go out a winner after being told there's nothing there for him next year.
As predicted. That hiding from GPS on the weekend sealed his fate. With Carl Marshall leaving too it'll be interesting to see what Tom Court does......as previously stated the mail is he's returning to UQ
The moment McCormack came back to Brisbane sealed Gabbett's fate.........only thing that might save him would be a Premiership. But my money is on McCormack being Head Coach and Damien Steele Assistant. Also hearing Tom Court is off back to UQ next year clearing more space for McCormack.
they flooded the field Friday night to ensure the mud pit suited their forwards orientated game. Say what you will about Norths, they sure do play for each other and will always keep coming at ya. 4th game in a row now I think they've scored the 4 try bonus point
