    NSW AAGPS 2024

Interesting prediction. The standout team from this year in 5th and Scots in 6th (the only team to prevent their unbeaten season). If you are right it demonstrates a healthy GPS competition where teams are close and there is no long term dominance by any school.

    NSW AAGPS 2023

Not for opposing fans on a sunny winters day the far side of the pitch. Joeys faithful on comfortable seating in a tiered stand, toilets to hand, with the sun at their back - on one side. Opposing fans on hard bench seating with limited elevation staring into the setting sun on the visitors...

Have you been on the wacky weed again Joker??? FYI - There are also several options where Joeys end up bottom of the table as they were just a few weeks ago...... Those rose tinted specs suit you though Joker.......keeping the dream alive!! An outright win still achievable for Scots I note......

Last time the match was played was 2014 Link to Green and Gold report below. https://greenandgoldrugby.com/battle-bellevue-hill-scots-v-cranbrook-2/ Guessing the Cranbrook weekly newsletter didn't cover this match quite as extensively.

I remember well in 2014 when Shore played at Bellevue Hill late in the season and were without a win to Scots 8 comfortable victories. Shore played their hearts out and came within whisker of a major upset. Were ahead until the final few minutes when Scots scored in the corner. Earned a lot of...

    NSW AAGPS 2023

Joeys far in a way the most intimidating environment. In years gone by there were 4 oppositions with which to contend - the Joeys team, the loud partisan crowd, the referee and the time keeper. An almighty task for any visiting team. Referees and timekeepers have been less of an issue in recent...

    NSW AAGPS 2023

Interesting prediction on the AAGPS RUGBY website ladder as to how Joeys will perform in the second half of the season. Back to the top! It boldly proclaims. You heard it here first....well second......Joker has been suggesting as much for several weeks.

    NSW AAGPS 2023

New and disturbing territory for Joeys.....mid season without a win and bottom of the 1st XV table......one point adrift of Shore. I do believe they've been unlucky though and to take them lightly in return matches would be unwise. A lot of close matches and whilst it is clearly going to be...

Always a shame that the top Qld and NSW GPS teams don't meet. Would have been a great game. Ponga's schoolboy highlights reel is very special. It was about that time that Scots played a supposedly strong TSS pre-seaon and won convincingly.

    NSW AAGPS 2023

Quite possibly Joker But the stats for the 2014 side weren't far off. Over 400 points with about 70 against from memory. A lot of very good players across the park as well as a few standouts. Certainly the most dominant side of the last decade. Won 10 GPS games and atleast 4 trial games...

A very fine Scots team indeed in 2014. Dominated all season with just a scare against Shore late in the season who came close to an almighty upset. For those of you who want to relive the season link is below to season highlights. One of the very best schoolboy highlights reels. 2...

Watched it again a number of times on cluch. Just got himself in the wrong position in making the tackle. Applause from the crowd as he gets loaded into the ambulance that he was able to acknowledge. Would be great to know later from a Riverview parent later on that he is OK. Dreadful when one...

Tom Yassmin might just end up being the first GPS rugby player to make it in the NFL. Link below to a feature on him earlier this year just before he played in the Rosebowl.

Hello Joker Back again for the GPS season. Not in your tipping competition but for the record my tip for the big clash this week is Scots. My boy long gone now but have promised a current team parent that I will post a match report. Rest assured I will be fair and balanced as I always have been...

    NSW AAGPS 2020

Well....very much a game of 2 halves at Bellevue Hill. Scots 29 Joeys 40 Scots a very different side after the break....need to send those oranges for a lab test! Joeys suddenly looked vulnerable. Scots deserved winners of the second half 29 to 14.

    NSW AAGPS 2020

Joeys looking sharp....Scots all at sea. It will take a very well drilled side to beat you this year Joker.
